The SEMYJig from JYG Pro Fishing is the ultimate heavyweight champion designed for the most challenging conditions.

The SEMY is based on the design of the STRYKE with a more compact design. This jig streaks on free fall and flutters when pitched.

Weighing from 30 grams up to 1030 grams, the SEMY excels in strong currents up to 4 knots, making it perfect for deep-sea enthusiasts, and shallow water fans alike.

The SEMY Jig is extremely versatile and has been used in many different environments. The lighter weights are often used inshore and in freshwater lakes, while the heavier offerings have been fished as deep as 2,000ft.

This jig is a favorite in the Gulf of Mexico, The Bahamas and all around the world.

Using the general rule of 1 gram of jig weight per every 30cm of depth, we can decide which size jig to use. For instance, when fishing in 45 metres (150 ft), a jig weight between 130g and 200g would be acceptable.
